Our highly experienced and well-trained paralegals are a very important part of the Rutkin & Oldham team. Our training is an ongoing requirement. Our paralegals are able, with attorney supervision, to accomplish many necessary tasks at a fraction of what it would cost if a lawyer primarily did the same task. This structure produces important savings to every client.
Linda Chmura
joined our firm in 2007, having completed her Paralegal Certificate from the University of Connecticut in 2006. She received her A.S. degree from South Central Community College in 1997. Prior to coming to Rutkin & Oldham, she worked as a legal assistant in the area of family law for ten years.
Ticia Webster
has been with the firm for 9 years. Ticia graduated from the University of Connecticut at Storrs with a B.A. in business education, and has devoted her many talents to office administration for almost 30 years. She is usually the first contact a new prospective client makes, as she handles most incoming calls. Ticia‘s welcoming attitude makes people comfortable when they call or enter the firm. She is a legal assistant for the firm.
Kathy West
comes to Rutkin and Oldham with 5 years of matrimonial law experience. Her extremely varied resume also includes 15 years as a radio air personality and a Kindergarten teacher. But her heart for family law comes from having experienced first-hand what clients are going through and that makes her uniquely empathetic to the client‘s needs. Originally a Florida native who attended the University of South Florida, she now calls Fairfield County home with her two daughters.
