Prior to joining Rutkin, Oldham & Griffin, Ms. Wu worked with Goldschmidt & Genovese LLP; Farber, Pappalardo & Carbonari; and Wong, Wong & Associates, P.C. in New York State. Before beginning her career in law, Helen spent many years in the not-for-profit world, serving as Executive Director of the New York Chinese Cultural Center, and she held numerous positions including Director of Special Programs at AFS-USA, Inc.
Ms. Wu completed her undergrad education at Yale University, earning a B.A. in Politics and East Asian Studies, and she earned a Master’s Degree in Political Science from New York University. Helen graduated from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a member of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and worked as a Legal Intern for the Community Economic Development Clinic. She also serves as a pro bono attorney for Safe Passage Project, representing undocumented juveniles entering the United States.
Ms. Wu is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association Family Law Section, the Fairfield County Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and the Asian-American Bar Association of New York. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York.
Helen also speaks Mandarin Chinese and French.
