Prior to joining Rutkin Oldham Contratto, Kyle was an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau County, New York.During that time, he tried numerous cases to verdict and became accustomed to a fast-paced and demanding environment wherein he was a tireless advocate for victims of crimes and domestic violence.

Kyle’s interest and passion for family law arose during law school, where he performed clinical work on behalf of domestic violence victims seeking divorce. This interest deepened during his time as a criminal prosecutor, where he focused on giving a voice to crime victims. Kyle uses his legal experience to navigate clients through difficult times and guide them towards favorable outcomes. 

Kyle graduated from the University of Miami, with Honors. There, he studied English Literature and Business Law. Kyle received his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill, where he wrote for the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology, served as a Student Prosecutor, and volunteered with the NC Center for Domestic Violence.

A Connecticut native, Kyle is proud to reside in his hometown of Stamford.
